Sorry for the newbie question.
How do you ensure the samples are loaded each time you reboot?
When to spend some time with the London Uprigt this morning and I get the message that the samples are not loaded. _________________ Bass and keyboard player, not usually at the same time, but sometimes in the same song!

Go to Global then touch Auto Load and your London Upright should be there if and checked in red. I hope this helps if not just back to the question mark where u downloaded the London Upright for instructions to properly load the sample. _________________ K2 Kronos 88, Mojo 61, Korg CX3, Roland FANTOM 7 |

If you do not have enough memory just uncheck one of the other files so you can at least listen to the London Upright. _________________ K2 Kronos 88, Mojo 61, Korg CX3, Roland FANTOM 7 |

The three _UserBank.KSCs can be found in the three folders. Maybe using those KSCs plus the others, e.g. London_UserBank.KSC, Iowa_UserBank.KSC, etc. will allow you to combine in the manner you wish.

Try to merging any of three of these five libraries. I am sure you do not succeed. |

You will succeed....!
1: Copy all the Piano...Userbanks into a fresh and empty Kronos.
2: Optionally: Delete the MS you do not need
3: Then save the samples to a new Userbank: this file will contain only all the links to the existing 5 or so libraries; the samples remain where they are in their original libraries)
4: Load the newly created userbank in a fresh Kronos (or append the sample set you normally use, e.g factory ++), and you're done _________________ Ad

Clarification about RAM... If I want to load the Albacore that has 1.3G in RAM, and I have just 2G RAM (stock of original Kronos) only... Also, did not load any other KSCs, it seems that I still only have 970M allowable.
So, do I have to get the 4 Gig RAM set to load this 1.3G albacor set?
Thanks |

load the .Userbank.KSC and not the normal KSC
Only if you want to change/add to the (multisamples)samples, you need to load the KSC in memory
Using the Userbank.KSC loads only the references and the first parts of the samples _________________ Ad

yes, (from posts 5 or 6 back) that's why I was running out of RAM, I was trying to load the whole KSC, not the User Bank KSC, when I swapped to the User Bank KSC, issue solved. _________________ Bass and keyboard player, not usually at the same time, but sometimes in the same song!

It is still not working.. When I load the file called
Albacore Grand_UserBank.KSC
The next window in the lower left hand corner shows a message stating KSC is incomplete due to uninstalled EXs ??2 in red
So what am I doing incorrecty?
Thanks |

You can try loading the Albacore Grand.KSC. You will need to load it with the CLEAR ALL option as that's the only way to free up the RAM. Does it load? Can you play the Programs? If so, it sounds like the UserBank.KSC is out of sync. You would goto DISK==>FILE==>SAVE and Select SAVE SAMPLING DATA from the drop-down menu top-right. It should have the name already in there, so don't change that. Make sure it's set to SAMPLING DATA MODE and ALL. This will re-write the files.
You will need to re-boot to get the Kronos back to where you normally have it. At this time, try the _UserBank.KSC. If this doesn't work, your only option is to delete the files and re-download.

Thanks for the explanation... I tried the 2 ways you stated and nothing work...
Now I will try the third by redownloading the files again.
Thanks.. |
