|
|
Hello everyone,
I noticed something funny yesterday - I was using my Volca Beats, and I noticed that sometimes (every 4 or so repetitions), there would be an audible -though not very great- drop in volume during playback!
I´m not sure if I was imagining this next part, but I thought it was happening more often if I had pushed up the "click"-attack on the kickdrum to maximum.
Not sure if this had to do anything with the cable I was using (stereo mini jack to MONO(!) regular jack), but I´m 100% sure it wasn´t my audio interface.
Any ideas what this was? Bug? my Beats is still on the old firmware...
Cheers

update: "problem" only appears very randomly... might actually be a faulty cable (I`m using a stereo-to-mono cable, if one of the channels wasn´t wired/soldered correctly and drops out occasionally, that might be the reason for the drop in volume...)
oh, and also: my beats apparently actually already WAS on firmware 1.02 when I bought it.
looks like they update some in the factory after all. |
