|
|
I'm trying to figure out if there is a way to jump from controlling tracks 1 through 8 to 9 through 16 in Live 5.0.2 at the touch of button on the microKontrol.
The ideal situation being using the the faders contol tracks 1 thru 8, then hitting a button to shift control to tracks 9 thru 16.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. |

Yes, there’s a couple different ways. You could set up Mackie emulation for the mK which includes track bank buttons. There’s a free app that does this for you…I haven’t tried it though.

You can also use software like Bome’s MIDI Translator (PC) or Control Aid (Mac) to do this. You’d have to manually map everything for that to work though. As a brief example with Translator, you’d set up 2 presets. One for tracks 1-8 and the other for track 9-16 (could do more banks if you liked as well). You’d need one button to switch between the 2 presets. _________________

Thanks for the info!
I'm using a Mac so I'll look into Control Aid and let the forum know if I'm successful. |
