Issue resolved - german music store Thomann was kind enough to help me order the parts through Korg. Hope the M50 can be fixed with this.
Best to use the original parts I guess. I think it's tantalum capacitor ELNA SYL1A476M-RB. |

There don't seem to be much in the way of alternatives that have the same spec in the given part size.
There's a 6.3V Niobium Oxide part which would fit and do the job: NOSB476M004#0500
Alternatively, a wire-ended tantalum part could be used.

Thanks @voip. Already got the capacitors. m50 is running again. 9 hours without an issue, hope it stays like that. Got that m50 on ebay for 120 EUR, was listed as defect unit. |
