Hi all.

I recently resqued a Kort Triton Le88 and gave it a new home.

However theres a minor problem i cant seem to resolve.

Theres no sound, at all. I have checked all the common things like local control, master fader and nothing, not from the main outputs or the headphone output.

It starts normally and i can navigate menus and modes.
It seems to be sending midi signal just fine, need to wait for my midi to usb adapter to arrive to verify that. With multimeter i got some readings of signal.

Any idea what seems to be the source of problem here? The mainboard seems to be fine and no blownup resistors or stuff like that in there.

So the more obvious cause, that of possible incorrect settings is pretty much ruled out.

Check to see if there is any sound reaching the Master Volume control "hot" ends. If there is, then take a look at the audio mute signal level. It should go low a short time after booting.

If there is no audio at the Master Volume control, then the problem is further back in the sound chain. Possible D/A converter failure, would be one place to look. Also check the power supply lines, especially the analogue circuit supplies.
