assignable knobs work only in global MIDI Channel?

Hi everyone.
Question: Do knobs in assignable mode only work on the Global channel?
For many years I have been using an 88-key TE both for sounds and as a master keyboard combined with a midi keyboard (silent, midi controller only) as a second keyboard. Recently, due to excessive weight (I'm getting old...) I decided to use a 61-key TE instead of my TE 88 and a lighter 88 mute master keyboard, leaving the TE 61 for all the sounds and as 2nd keyboard.
I transferred the sounds to the 61, changing obviously the midi channels to swap the MIDI global channel from the 88 to the new use of TE 61 (the keyboard is not to use for pianos, but for other sounds).
I have some combi sounds that use e.g. a piano together with a pad, a pad that I could raise or lower using the knob by assigning the volume control CC07 only to the pad. and leaving the volume control disabled for the piano sound so the piano volume remained unchanged. Having changed the midi channel to the piano and pad sound, different from the global channel of the TE, to use it with the new mute master keyboard, all the knobs no longer act on the sounds. Is there the possibility of assigning a midi channel (even an all channel) to the knob or does it only work on the global midi channel? In fact, even by assigning it in the setup of the controller and midi section, the knob only acts on the progs that are on the global channel.

Hi,
I have a similar problem, Realtime control knob in B mode works when using a program.
If the same program is copied in a Combination choosing a different midi channel from global some program change doesn't work even if you do the right settting about controller and midi filter.
I did a program and set realtime knob control change for it (B mode).
Once i copied that program in a combi on a different midi channel from global some knob modulation doesn't works.
Modulation about reverb or chorus quantities (wet/dry) works, modulations for example about "F/A Release" doesn't works and I don't know why.
If you find a solution let me know please.
