|
|
Hello everbody,
I have a question regarding Korg styles. I own a Korg Pa4x and I would Like to create new styles. The problem is that creating new style in style edit mode takes a lot of time, so I would like to ask everyone if you could kindly recommend a software (not necessarily free) that I could use to create styles on a computer. It can be either a software that I could use to create new style from scratch, or it can be a software that lets me change the notes the drum is sampled at (sorry if I explained it badly, but, for example, changing the kick from C8 to C2 ). Sorry if i repeated the topic somebody else had posted, but I couldn't find any solution so far.
Thank you in advance.
Best regards to everbody,
Marko |

Styleworks XT Universal is good software for converting styles. A software search on the web will find it. Hope that helps....
Review...
Style Converter - for the conversion of other keyboards' styles for your instrument; you get access to all styles on the market, even to those which were not produced for your instrument.
Song to Style Converter - for the creation of styles from midifiles; you miss a suitable accompaniment pattern for a specific song? No problem - load the song midifile into the Song to Style Converter and "cut" the rhythm from the song data.
Style Editor - for fast and efficient modification of your style data. Alter volumes, sound assignments and transpositions, even for several tracks at once.
Import/Export module - here you can create a midifile from any style. So you may now use all the sophisticated functions of your sequencer program even when editing styles, just as if it was a GM song. _________________ Regards, Keith [pa1000]

Marko | You can use any DAW with MIDI capabilities to edit your styles and/or create new styles from scratch.
Just naming some of the DAW: Cubase, Logic, etc...
You can Export your style as MIDI (from PA4X) and import it into a DAW, doing your editing, saving as MIDI zero file format and import it back to your PA4X.
You can even create Styles from scratch in a DAW and import it into PA4X.
Hope that helps. |

You can find lot of information here in Pa4x section
(Creating Styles from Midi files in an external sequencer (such as Pro Tools, Cubase…)):
