Has any of you really delved into the STR-1 engine?
I think I have underestimated it. Am mostly looking into ambient and pad sounds.
Maybe you have general tips and experiences that you wanna share here?

Try only noise thru the Excitation Filter set to band pass.

Fiddle with the cutoff and high resonance, soft attack.
You should get some sparkly sounds.

Once you find a sweet spot, try mixing in PCM sounds.

The STR1 engine can have a very high fidelity sound.
