Well, just my Kronos LS88 back from the shop with a brand new keybed! However, now I have around 24 keys that make a lovely clacking sound when released! Won't be an issue playing in the band, but in the studio, it's not cool! Anyone have any experience with this or a solution? I will call the shop on Monday to see what they say.

I don’t know if you ever figured this out, but you probably need to loosen the keybed screws on the back and let the keybed slide forward ever so slightly from the body. The easiest way to do this is to put the keyboard on a carpeted floor, tilt it up so it’s “keys down,” and then loosen the two rows of screws along the back that are under the keybed. Gravity should let it fall the millimeter or so it needs, and then you can check the keys and (if the clacking is gone), tighten the screws back up.

I'm facing the same issue on sveral keys and I noticed that the new Korg Liano has the same keybed. I'm thinking about buying one of them (about 300€) and swapping the keybed on my Kronos LS.
Anybody here tried this? I'd like to know if it's something actually doable.
Thank you all!

The spring wears the support seat in the key. The solution is to change the problematic Key on services. If you try to fix yourself, disassemble the Key and insert a hot needle behind the spring on the surface of the support seat. The spring does not wear the needle as a plastic seat.

From where I can buy the Keybed. Thinking of replacing it as a whole.
Also someone mentioned the liano key bed would be compatible ? Any experience on that ?
