Hello,

A friend of me is blind. I helped him purchasing and now setting up a PA 1000.

So far so good. The only issue right now, I don't know how to recall User Scales. He plays beautifully quartenotes Scales but after saving a set to the Keyboard User-Library and after powering off, the Keyboard restores the set but not the scale.
I have watched tutorials, the manual and quick start guide but I can't find any information on how to properly save and recall user scales.

I wrote to the Korg support and they were very helpful.


On page 861 of the PA 1000 Manual.
In the Sub-scale Menu on the touch-screen you have to set the scale to "User". This way you can edit, save and recall the Scale within the Keyboard-Set or Sounds.

Instead of searching for "User scale" in the Manual you can search for "Sub User-scale"
