Hello KF,

if you are interested in using the Korg PA 5X for dance music and EDM, I recommend checking my youtube video for the most up-to-date EDM Pack expansion included samples, that cater specifically to electronic dance music.

For dance music and EDM, you'll likely find a plethora of electronic and synth sounds, Pads, Leads, Pianos, and other relevant samples that can be used to create electronic dance tracks.

The sounds you hear on the Video demo is only from KORG PA 5X.
Al sounds are compatible with KORG PA 4 X.

Be nice to see more detailed info on exactly what is for the PA5x including a list of styles and the demos for such...for a pack that is over $400 AUD, there is scant information.

Thanks for all of that...and are they all (Platinum Kharma) fully ready to go and 100% compatible with the PA5?

Yes it’s 100 working and tweaked for the pa5x
I’m
On stage now and I’m using this and I just love it.
Why, because it sounds more realistic , more air and it feels like you have 12 group members instead of 8 course of the pad loops.
So YES. It’s 100%
The sound quality on the pa5 x is also a factor.

Do you have any of the "real" drums and basses like over at WavesArt in this pack or are they all the Korg factory kits/bass sounds?

I got to know Globalsound and their sounds a little over a year ago. The sounds have an incredible quality. After searching the web for other sound manufacturers for the 4X and 5X, I am left with only Globalsound as relevant. I am a songwriter myself, who depends on good producers to produce my finished products. The quality I find in Globalsound's sounds, presets, etc. is simply incredibly good. In my search for "LIVE" feeling in the music, I have learned that the sounds are produced with random selection, and many samples with small variations that give exactly the authenticity you would get from a musician. Small but equal variations, which occur when a musician plays his instrument. I can wholeheartedly recommend the packages from Globalsound. The price is also fantastic after comparing with what I have found from other manufacturers. I can't wait to fill my pa4x and my Medeli with new products from Globalsound. The first time I installed such a package it was like paying almost nothing to get a brand new keyboard! It has become an incredibly good tool for developing my songs from idea to finished product. It has also opened up my creativity in the face of several styles that I previously had no thoughts of working with.

If you just want the SOUNDS its Cheaper.
If you need all Loops Styles Sounds And more, its 249 Euros.
