Greetings,
I realize the documentation specifies a direct USB connection, and that's been working well (I'm on Mac).
For regular studio interconnectivity, I use the iConnectivity mioXL - MIDI routing is great, editors using SysEx work well (I realize we're not talking SysEx here). The WaveState needs to be disconnected from the patchbay and connected to the computer via a separate USB cable for any editor/librarian activity.
I was wondering if anyone has been able to run the editor/librarian without having to swap cables - maybe some sort of USB merge?
Just being lazy Very Happy

Update - I decided to use a free DIN pair on the mioXL to run MIDI to the WaveState and kept a permanent USB connection to the editor/librarian . . . they coexist well!
Cheers.
