Have you compared Nautilus vs Korg Pa5x sounds each other? Is there much of a difference?

Yes! Pa5X has the best factory sounds than any other model. Except from the piano sounds which are maybe equal with Kronos/Nautilus.

Dimitris

Hi,
Just to put some context into this Thread. I have a Korg PA4X and a Nautilus 88. The guitar sounds on the PA4X are better than the Nautilus. That said, the Nautilus has some incredible sounds on it. Particularly Strings, synths, pads, etc.

I have both, a Nautilus 73 and a PA5x 76. To my ears both have extremely good sounds and the major differences are because of effects and switches/pedals applications. The PA5x 76 DNC sounds are well set up and provide a lot of nuance. On the other hand the sequencers and pedals and switches on the Nautilus can introduce a lot to your interpretations as well. Having styles to play over that the PA5x has are really impressive and switches and sliders, as well as the matrix system, provide a lot of flexibility. The Nautilus, having 9 different sound engines, provides a wealth of sound sources that have great flexibility as well. And provide great starting points for your sound development. It is really hard to determine which is better, since both are really good at what they do and are subject to individual personal preferences. I think the methods that you use to arrive at your different sounds will determine which board you prefer. Both boards allow you to dig in deep. For me, the Pa5x is sound arrangement oriented; while the Nautilus is more sound development oriented. I love both of them! Cool
