In this tutorial I will show you how to use the chord recognition system on the korg pa5x from beginners to advanced modes.

Hi Qui,
Thank you for tutorial.
I was just wondering about the bit, 10 min in about your chords changing too soon.
I don’t normally play in advanced mode, so, this may not help.
Under preferences, chord recognition, have you got
Damper and Latch ticked.

I’m not sure if I was doing the same as you, but with that ticked and holding down pedal, chord didn’t change.

Thank you again, for this great tip, it's the solution indeed to that piano runs issue.

Although i tried it before and it didn't work at all, but after investigation i found out that my hold pedal from korg needed to be calibrated on the korg pa5x before it worked correctly for this feature. I did that in the controller section and now it works great.

I've added this information to the current video (updated version) because it adds a lot of functionality this way.

Hello Qui, great demo of the chords recognition , i usually play in 3 fingers mode with reverse chords and i'll try the advanced mode , out of curiosity ! thank's !
