How do you save your own combinations, on a new Korg Nautilus 61 ?
I don’t want to over write any existing ( combinations ) so can you suggest a save (location ) to get me started ?

Welcome to the forum.

The Nautilus section of the forum might have been a better place to post this.

Try saving edited Combis to one of the User Banks, "C" through to "N". There should be plenty of space there for this purpose.

Likewise, for edited Programs. The User Banks are "P" through to "R", and "a" through to "t".

In both cases, make sure the Memory Protect checkboxes, in the Global Basic Setup page, are unchecked.

Bear in mind, if any additional libraries or sound packs are bought and installed in the Nautilus, these will also use the User Banks, for Programs and Combis. Before installation of sound packs/libraries, it would be wise to check the Voice Name Lists that are given in the Owners Manuals that come with each of the libraries/sound packs and check for possible clashes with your own edited Programs and Combis. Clashes can be resolved by moving your Progs/Combis to a different place, or by directing the Progs/Combis in the library or sound pack installation to a different location.

Also bear in mind that Program Banks fall into two types, EXi, or HD-1. EXi and HD-1 Program types cannot be mixed within a Bank.
