Pa5X & Pa4X have the same 6 User Sound Banks with 13 pages with same properties.
In Pa5X PAD ,KBD SET & Styles Banks are unlimited and fully editable in many languages.
Hope this helps _________________ Music Conductor - Sound Engineer & Developer - Automotive SMPS/RF R&D - Electronics Engineer

Just imagine that only one custom user sound of 768 free positions , that can host 8 layers of 12 sec. max duration
of 88 notes per velocity of a real piano can easily full completely 4 GB of Ram.
This Premium Gnd piano could not be loaded in Pa4X even if it could support 4000 Sound positions , but it can be loaded
in just one Sound position in Pa5X !
So all magnitudes are relative to the usage and skills of sound developer that do not waste Sound positions. _________________ Music Conductor - Sound Engineer & Developer - Automotive SMPS/RF R&D - Electronics Engineer

There are no blank samples positions , read manual for Pa5X engine architecture !
If you mean empty Sound positions , yes , in every Sound bank there are 128 positions empty or occupied and
can be seen only in SOUND mode and if you copy or load a Sound from an KST folder.
