I am not looking for any realistic sounding instruments, mainly pads, efx, anything spacey etc, will Kross 1 give a range new such Programs and Combis?

I can't find a Kross multisample list, Korg's PDF file stopped at page 69...and sample names were at higher number

Reason I ask is I could get a well preserved cheaply

/////// Edit

Nvm, I bough it and will know the differences first handed

Curious to know too! I recently bought a Kross 2 as a "Triton Lite on Batteries" so would be keen to hear your comparisons.

I'm happy with the Synth Pads, they're more detailed than on older Triton. I also love the use of many more multisamples for each Program (Multisamples 1-4 on two oscillators), and the great use of SW1 and SW2, most programs sound totally different in say 3 ways, so I get 3 versions of each using button switches:)

Thx KORG!

EDIT //

I added KROSS1 Program loading function to my app and from some 150 KROSS1 SFX Programs it generated like 23000 new ones Smile With more time and studies and testing I will get many more possibilities how to get new patches, atleast the plan is so. Exporting PCG file for loading to the KROSS1 is already working so I can listen to one bank at the time.
