I have just received a 64 Gb micro SD (Sandisk) to use.
It will be Monday night before I finish adding my MP3, style and MIDI files and testing it out.
Will post again when I have completed the test. _________________ Biggles

Hi,
Without knowing the upper limit, I know that cards and usbs of 128 were tested and working properly. _________________ "Many people take the bad management for destiny!" - Kin Hubbard |

The 64 Gb micro SD card was not seen by the Korg, it was formatted as ExFAT, my PC does not give me the option of formatting the card in FAT32 hence I will leave it and use it in my camera.
I formatted a 32 Gb micro SD card put music in MP3 format and MIDI files on the car and the Korg sees it and the files OK.
A 32 Gb USB memory stick formatted as Fat32 was read OK and MP3 and MIDI files on it played.
A 128 Gb USB memory stick formatted ExFAT was not read, I am not going to change the format of this memory stick.
I presently have the 32 Gb micro SD card in its slot internally and a 32 Gb USB memory stick in its socket and the Korg sees them both.
Hope this helps. _________________ Biggles

At 29:58 he shows the usb stick of 128 being connected and running.
I do not know how that is formatted. _________________ "Many people take the bad management for destiny!" - Kin Hubbard |

Its formatted as FAT32.
Format in the Korg via Media > Format, I just found the info in the manual
I should have looked in the manual.
So it looks as though it can take upto 32 Gb memory when they are formatted in a PC but for larger volumes or to play safe format in the Korg then transfer to a PC to load files.
I will try formatting my 64 Gb micro SD card in the Korg tomorrow. _________________ Biggles

I put the 64 Gb micro SD card into the Korg and formatted it via Media > Format.
Then put the card in our iMac and added the MP3, MIDI, style files and documents on the card.
Put it back in the Korg and all is OK.
WARNING
When you select Media > Format, it defaults to the Korg disc and not an inserted SD/USB memory stick. Hence it could be easy to initiate formatting the Korg disc if you are not paying attention. _________________ Biggles

Thank you for the warning Biggles. Before you know it you would be lost all your disc-data!!! |

The micro SD card I have in my 700 is the XC version with 64Gb of preformatted capacity.
Whatever you choose please remember to format it in your 700 before loading it with files on a PC or Mac.
The formatted SD XC that I used did not work in my 700 until I formatted it in the keyboard. _________________ Biggles

Hi.
I installed a MicroSD Card now. Formatted via PA-700-OR.
Perfect!
Tried Copy files from internal Storage to Micro SD.
No Problem so far! _________________ "Together" works best! |

I formatted a Samsung 64Gb SD card in Windows.
Used minitool partition wizard to format the card FAT32.
Worked great in my PA700 |
