Hello everyone. Is there any way to play with electric drums in Record New Style with Pa4x Drum Kit?
If that possibility exists, can someone tell me how it works. Thanks in advance |

Hi Adri
I did this on my Korg i30 many years ago with a Yamaha DTX kit.
I'll have a think about this... never needed to do it on my PA series keyboards....
Not sure how you tell the PA4x to read MIDI IN when creating (recording) a style drum track... must try it...
I think I might understand why you would want this - for me, Korg have never had good quality players on some style drum tracks - in particular drum fills and send-offs at the end of ENDINGS!!!!
Don't get me wrong - the style grooves are the best but some of the fills and send-offs, are very average.
PA5x seems the same....
Yamaha has the edge with drum fills/send-offs IMHO, but their styles are generally not as authentic - great intros and endings but no guts in the VARs

Because I have sampled a very good drum kit and I want a friend of mine to play the drums so that all the nuances can be heard... I believe you understand me but I don't know how to connect it and how to separate the sounds in triggers module 😀 |

Completely understand.
I don't think this is possible recording straight into a STYLE in STYLE edit mode.
I believe you would have to record your track first using LOGIC or another DAW, then edit the individual traps of the kit to suit, save as a MIDI file and finally import to the style.
You would of course have to create the drum kit on the keyboard first.
