Hi All,
Can anyone please let me know how to record for example the vocals dry whilst hearing, say a reverb effect through the headphones when recording on the Korg D16XD?
I have upgraded from the Boss BR8 which allowed me to do this but even after reading the manual, I am not able to overcome this issue.
Also, has anyone had any problems connecting an external effects unit using the auxiliary outputs on this machine? Not sure if my machine is faulty in this respect as I have gone through the clear instructions in the manual on this one.
Regards

Hi. I think my reply got deleted from earlier. In essence, i haven't tried it as I always record with wet effects, however I imagine it could be done. You could try to see if there's a function that will let you bus the effects to their own channels when you record. That is, for instance, if you can put the reverb on its own track by itself, then you could turn that reverb track all way down during recording so you didn't hear it. Might also be some ways to route what goes into the headset. Just some ideas. |

Kal,
Old post here. If you are still working on this (which I doubt) I'm nearly positive this can be done. Just PM me, and I'll try to test it with you.
