|
|
I have a 12 year old D16XD that I deleted the stock sample song on, in an attempt to increase storage.
But now I want to access it to use as a study tool for
mixing.
Would anyone be willing to send me a file of this sample song from their D16XD, so I could reload it on my D16?

If anyone ever gets back to you - I would quite like this too!
I have recently bought a D32XD.
There are a couple of demo songs with this. if you can tell me how to download these, you could have a copy, no probs. |

Hey tommy1340millar, thanks for the offer. No one has sent me one yet.
First off, you have bought a great deck. I love my D16XD, which I have had for 10 years, and done many cool projects on.
The easiest way for you to send me a song sample from your D32XD is for you to follow the directions for making a "backup" of a song on a blank CD, and then sending me this copy. The "backup" process downloads all of the data of any song (including the stock songs), including any effects that have been used, as well as all track information. I have done this many times, and it is explained thoroughly in the manual. I would be glad to pay for the postage and blank CD.
If you are just using your D32XD for the first time, this may be new to you, and I would be glad to walk you through the process.
Thanks for the offer, and good luck with your D32XD.

DAVE -
If you PM Me your address, I'll (try) to do you a copy next time it's fired up. It would be a good little project.
The only thing I'd say is...
Don't hold your breath, I'm full of great intentions, but tend to flit from 1 thing to another |

Tommy,
Can I take you up on this offer as well. I'd be glad to pay you $20 for the effort. I'd like to have the original DEMO Songs as well just to play around with. Hope you have the FADER Adjustment song too!

Just curious if either of you are still using your D16XD, or D32XD Recorders.
I love mine, would definitely love to have the Demo Songs, as well as the Fader TEST.
But more importantly am looking to link mine via MIDI to a Korg Arranger. Wondering if anyone has had an experience with MIDI _________________ Dave Kalbach
