Forgive me for this digression. I own the PA4x and Genos.
I've been giving the SD90 and SD9 a listen and wonder do any of you own this unit?
I heard this today and I doubt KORG or YAMAHA even comes close to how good this sounds....

is it the price ????

For me Ketron was a very exciting prospect since the release of Audya BUT here in Australia there is no reasonable support with only one retailer who is also distributor - no competition regarding prices!!!

I wish this was different!!!

I think Korg pa series has the worst drum/perc samples compared to Ketron and Yamaha. This sounds so nice.

But except for the acoustic drums Audioloops.... (unfortunately can't be used properly with MIDIs) I find Ketron boring, the styles all very similar. Nice for traditional music, but more modern, EDM etc. very old-fashioned. The only sounds I find really good (compared to the competition) are the accordions. But that's just my opinion - I was happy to return the SD90 to the shop after 2 days. There are people who think Ketron sounds best - please, I have no problem with that.
