Ok Im gonna kick off about this because Im sick of it being ignored. I have been a Pro Singer Musician for many years and I sing and play everything from Jazz Pop Blues Motown Soul AND Country. I have just watched a whole bunch of demos of the new PA5X and barely a trace if any of Country Styles being featured. Don't you Musicians out there realise that its the biggest thing in the USA and extremely popular across Europe. Country Music Musicians are highly respected by all the worlds top guitar players like Clapton Tommy Emmanuel Jeff Beck and the list is endless. I know there are Country Styles on the PA5X so why the heck dont you demo them and create more variety also. Come on Korg buck your ideas up.

Me too ... or maybe a better way to express it in these times:
I've actually wondered about that too. I think I read somewhere that it's pretty much the same as at PA4X Question

Having limited Country Styles is a bad thing because ………..

Personally, imo Country is a waste of time, boy meets girl, girl dumps boy, girl kills herself. Yada yada yada

Well then I'm pretty sure you won't understand Blues and R&B either, so you just might want to remove those styles as well.

I Agree. At least Yamaha releases Country sound packs with added styles and voices targeted to this genre.

I always felt Korg was also lacking in other Genres as well such as Big Band and Ballroom which are required to play assisted living and 55+ community gigs.

It's a bad thing for someone who plays Country. And there are A LOT of people who play and listen to that kind of stuff!

Can't think of the exact number right now, but the ten or so country styles in my Pa3x serve me well. Just changing the stock tempos, and subbing a few instruments here and there stretches your palette. Hey, there's a Greek style in the 'world' section called Xasapiko which, slowed down, makes a very decent country style. Dig around, folks.

Nice but nothing too special - the Ventura Highway style (Acoustic Country) is great but also an old style like several of the others.....
Thanks for sharing...

Very Happy

Thanks for doing that, all being we had to rely on a good member from New Zealand to do it. I trust we will be able to import some of the old country Styles from the PA4X as some have been dropped on the PA5X.
