Hi
I have a few songs on a USB I saved from my former Korg Krome, I no longer have the KROME having replaced it with a Nautilus.
The Krome songs are in KROME .SNG format.
Is there a way to convert them so I can play them on the Nautilus. ?

Thanks as always
Kev.

If still have access to Krome, save as a MIDI FILE format 0. Is only way to import to Nautilus, but will need to replace the programs, Ifx, Mfx on the tracks.

Thanks as always Dan -- alas no Krome so I gotta start from scratch. No worries- lesson learned.

Almost certainly someone in the neighborhood has Krome. If not, contact the Krome forum and someone will already be there to convert your SNG to MID.

I could convert but after 8 July. I also have Krome and Nautlus so could try to convert the Krome SNG to Nautilus SNG.

Why must it be saved as Format 0? Why won't saving as Format 1 work?

Would the same be true for saving a SNG file as MIDI file from a Triton for compatibility on a Nautilus?

Thanks!

I prefere to Format 0. Format 1 coming with some SysEX information that will not use. So from KORG to KORG is better format 0 but also work format 1 as well. To reproduce the song from Triton to Nautilus need to have both to can replace the same sounds or close programs in a track. From MIDI file will keep the track playing data, no Program Change or IFx, Mfx, settings because are different. So is better to have both to can compare then save the Nautilus SNG.

Understood - saving both MIDI formats a good idea - thanks!

Yes, the format 1 save some meta data separately for each track so could be useful. If think to change your Triton to Nautilus and impossible to keep both, make a pictures with SEQ main page to remember the programs (category) used in a tracks. Also audio mix for comparison.
B.T.W. Personally I would keep the Triton Extrem with MOSS Very Happy
