Welcome to the forum.

The Triton Classic doesn't provide any background accompaniment as such, although some sort of accompaniment can be obtained in Sequencer mode using SNG files. For extensive accompaniment type playing, using an arranger type keyboard would be the best way to go.

For the arpeggiators to function, the MIDI clock needs to be set to Internal in the Global MIDI menus, and the Arpeggiator function needs to be enabled, and also set up in the Program or Combi being used. It is possible that not all Programs and Combis use the Arpeggiators.

As far as USB is concerned, the Triton Classic doesn't have a USB connection. That connectivity came with the Triton Extreme. Or has the floppy drive been replaced by a floppy emulator, using USB thumb drives? If that's the case, the thumb drive needs to be formatted in a particular way, effectively behaving as a large number of floppies, using software that came with the floppy drive emulator.
