I was just watching Rick Beato's show on the song Roundabout. By the band Yes and he's talking about the reverse piano effect that happens at the very beginning of the song. I was wondering of anybody knows how to make that sound on the Kronos and if so, could they let me in how it's done?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The simplest way to get the hang of this is to find the M1 Piano sound in Program mode, go to the Osc/Pitch, Osc1 Basic tab, and check the Reverse box for the piano multisample.

For this to work, the sample type needs to be in ROM. It's not possible with EXs samples.

There is also the Program called Reverse Piano, though this is created using samples that are already reversed.

Good advice from Voip, except the M1 piano is too short. Try the Acoustic FF piano, instead. Here's an example of what sounds to use for Roundabout:

I should also mention that I used a Stereo Compressor (Bass Body Builder preset) and Bass Amp Model (with the bass set to 100)j to make the piano "pop."
