hi everybody, i would like to know if it is possible to change some parameters to shorten the duration of the sound, e.g. of a piano or an electric piano, when the damper pedal is held down. Especially with the electric pianos holding down the pedal the sound slowly fades but actually it never ends. Thank you in advance.

It is indeed possible. The parameters to influence this are to be found in the Program Edit page P4, Amp/EQ, in the Amp 1 EG tab (and also the Amp 2 EG tab in a two Oscillator Program). If the sound sustains indefinitely with the damper pedal down, or when a key is held down, then look in those tabs at the Envelope section, Level Sustain parameter (do this for both tabs in a two Oscillator Program). If this is non zero, then make it zero, and see what happens. To shorten the decay characteristic, try altering the Time Decay and Slope parameters. The onscreen envelope graphic should reflect the changes made. When a key is pressed, it "takes" the parameter values in force when it is played so, to hear the effects of changing the parameter, the key(s) will need to be played again after the Damper has been released.
