|

Hi Guys, a good friend of mine has the EC5 pedal connected to his Pa4x, and he doesn't know how to activate the Leslie (rotary speaker effect) from his EC5 pedal.
Are there any special settings to activate this effect?
I appreciate the help you can give me

Yes you can do this - I have an EC5 pedal dedicated to Rotary speed
I am away from my PA4X for a while - will add a message with details shortly...
Cheers

Go to the Global Menu
There choose the Controler page.
In EC5 you can choose A, B, C, D or E to control the Rotary. |

Hi Hans
Sorry for delay - have only just returned home.
I had this set up in two different ways in the past but as per above, simply set the EC5 pedal (1-5) to "ROTARY SPKR FAST/SLOW" is now the best solution.
Cheers

Getting tired of arranger manufacturers thinking that one global setup for foot switches is good enough…
You only get five (seven on Roland’s) and there is so many different things they can do. It is LONG past time that foot pedals and switches are stored with each Registration. The controls you need are utterly different between using styles and using SMF’s or audio backing tracks. Five just don’t cover it…
TBH, there’s very little I can think of that doesn’t need adjusting between Registrations from time to time. Why do we need Globals AT ALL..? It’s not like data size is a problem any more. 😤 |
