|
|
Hey members.
Posted on karma forums too. Just got an Oasys serial #700. Was one listed on Reverb.com. Generally in good shape.
First couple of boots were unsuccessful with odd screens. Third boot worked. This morning though, repeatedly getting disk boot failure… boot from cd.
I do have the original and 1.1 recovery disks and have tried both. Also reformatted hard disk which seemed to work and then installed recovery. Have a re-with disk too and used that.
After many combinations, still left with disk boot failure. I’m thinking the disk or cable was jarred in transit. I have a replacement drive coming tomorrow and figured I’d try that.
Any thoughts appreciated. Mainly, should I expect replacing the disk will solve? |
