hello, getting really frustrated because my wavestate still wont connect to the PC. I have updated drivers and updated windows, im on the latest versions of everything, have tried to install, reinstal,l do all the fixes or anything that said it would work. I have reached out to Korg a few times and get the generic "have you tried reinstalling" everything crap, with really no solution or help I have lost a ton of respect for Korg on this issue. No one seems to help they give me generic responses everytime and then just stop responding to me when i say it still isnt working. I mean is this how Korg is operating these days? i have been a Korg fan for a long time but this issue is pretty ridiculous. can ANYONE please give me some help or a decent walkthrough solution that might fix this or am i screwed with a partially working wavestate? I literally am about to buy the opsix as well but found it has the same problems. Is Korg aware of this and just ignoring the people who cant get their synths to connect? sorry im ranting but im so frustrated as their is literally no one who i can talk to for support. any help here would really be welcomed please. im not sure where else to look for help. |

Your support story seems to be the norm for most of the synth makers these days. I've had similar experiences lately with 2 other companies. Maybe it's just my user handle. If they only knew, he he. You don't mention what version of windows you are using? Sounds like you have already tried the usb device removal app that Korg has? In the comments on that page there is a link to a video that shows how to edit the registry. I am experiencing the same frustration. I received my Wavestate on Monday, and here I am Wed evening not being able to find any clear answers. I acknowledge there can be a myriad of different configurations out there for users with issues, but why is Korg not more vocal about the issue?
If Windows has broken things with their updates, then Korg should say so, and then either indicate they are working on a fix, or provide some answers for workarounds on their FAQ listing. Making a user dig and research for such an issue sends the wrong signal about how a company sees their customers. |

You mention that you have reached out to Korg. I assume that means that you've contacted the support department of your national Korg distributor, which is the only official channel of support? Let me know who you talked with. _________________ Dan Phillips
