Hi all,

When I start from scratch with an Init Performance, velocity seems to be turned off. So if you play hard or soft, it's always on 127 (hard). I have looked through the performance settings, lanes, etc... and I just can't find where we can control this. Some wave sequencing performances have velocity enabled, others don't. But where do we control this? It's also not the velocity zones. I'm pretty certain it is turned off/on by layer, because I've found factory performances that have different layers that are velocity enabled + disabled mixed in one performance.

The most simple way to get some velocity action happening is the envelopes. The Amp, Filter and Pitch envelopes each have their own velocity knobs. It's the last knob on the right. Directly to the right of the release time knob. You can also assign velocity as a source in the mod matrix.

Thanks, this indeed works.
I was actually A/B comparing with a piano performance, but I just figured out that piano performance uses different samples, depending on the velocity. So that's why it has more of a true velocity feeling to it. The filter + amp env does the trick quite well too. Especially the filter to give it more of a mellow feel on lower velocity.
