| Just purchased a new Wavestate and while i'm really new to the Korg Wavestate I think some of the Factory samples are missing. I was watching a tutorial learning about the wavestate and noticed that mine was missing 2 of the 3 factory sample banks. When in the collection menu i only see All and Wavestate 1 as options to browse. The tutorial I was watching and other videos listed All, Plugin Guru, Wavestate, Wavestation (indicating original wavestation files I assume). So my question is how can I get all those factory sound samples. Is it possible or am I screwed? Sort of disappointing as I was looking forward to using the patches/sounds as a way to learn to program the synth. Any help would be really appreciated |

That's a new one...Are you sure that you aren't simply scrolling past the sounds you are looking for? The value knob can sometimes jump to the end or start of the whole list with just a tiny twist.

yea im positive, only 2 things in the collections menu. One named All and one named Wavestate 1  Really hoping i can get the rest of the sounds/samples.... |

| hopefully it is something i am overlooking. would love if someone could clarify. not sure if its just performances im missing or all the guru/wavestation samples/patches. |

OK...Sounds like the list of samples/performances may be filtered and only showing certain categories. Check the manual for the "Selecting and Playing Sounds" section. "Using Categories" mentions the filtering of the lists.

Note that the available Collections vary depending on the data type. For Performances, for instance, you'll see only Wavestate 1. Make sure that you are looking at the list of Multisamples; for example, select a Sample Lane Step, select the MS parameter, and press ENTER. I can *guarantee* that everything is there correctly.
