|
|
Hello there,
After many years of active use, the righthand pedal of our LP380 has broken (the pedal spring has snapped into 3 pieces). I'd really like to replace just the spring, rather than the complete unit, but can't find the specification anywhere in the documentation.
Has anyone had the same problem and/or can point me in the right direction to get a replacement spring (or pedal set)?
Thanks! |

Not had an issue with springs yet. How about piecing together the old spring and making some measurements of length, coil diameter, and wire diameter and having one made. There are companies out there that make such things to order e.g.:

Search engines are your friend.

Thanks - there are still complete springs in the other two pedals, so my backup plan is to get new springs based on one of those. I was hoping this was a known issue, and that someone had the spring spec to hand.
Plan A will be to go to the place we bought the piano from (it was closed over the weekend), and see if as a Korg reseller they can source an original spring. |
