You could use the realtime controls select the top line EG-Release knob 4 turned all the way to the right. Or you could modify the Program Edit-Amp menu Amp[1,2] tab set Release: 99.

Thanks. How do I keep the sample from fading in volume after I've hit the key?

Also- how do I save the sample and recall it after it's powered down and turned on again?

Set the other ADSR parameters on the same EG Amp[1,2] pages to 99
Level: Start, Attack, Break, Sustain
Time: Attack, Decay, Slope, Release

I would first create a new directory using
MEDIA>Utility
\/ Create Directory

To save, go to
MEDIA>Save
Open that directory
MEDIA>Save>Save \/ Sampling Data to save the sample(s)

To load, go to
MEDIA>Load
Open that directory
then MEDIA>Load
select the KSC saved in that directory
and \/ Load selected

Thanks alot for the help but I am still stumped. I am using a Korg Triton Studio. I can't find a MEDIA button anywhere to save my samples into a program.

I'm trying to create a bank of samples (one per key) that can trigger from one hit. How can I do this?

Ah - the button is called DISK on the Triton Studio (renamed to MEDIA on the Extreme since it doesn't have a hard drive). But the functions are the same.

I don't use the sampler except to load existing samples, so I'm not an expert in how to make your own samples, assign them to programs, and organize them in banks.

A good YouTube video of the tutorial DVD that came with the Extreme but made using the Studio:

https://youtu.be/s9ItVvKqKAQ

@42:05 DISK mode is discussed, and then a section on using the sampler.

Also be sure to check out the available documentation from the korg website for the Triton Studio:

https://www.korg.com/us/support/download/product/1/219/

Hope this helps!
