|
|
Dear Admins,
I was trying to use Korg Forums in Google Chrome (Version 88.0.4324.150 (Official Build) (64-bit) under Windows 10. The forum login fails ... says invalid username or password, despite both the username and password being correct. Tried 5 times.
Under Firefox, the login using same username and password is successful. I am writing using Firefox login (obviously). I used my Firefox login to change my password, then tried Google Chrome login another 5 times. Failed to login ...
To save user frustration and invalidating accounts, it might be helpful to state this problem on the home page and also file a bug report with phpBB.
Thanks,
Rob |

Hi Rob.
Sorry but I don’t seem to be able to replicate that problem.
Can you try clearing out the cookies from your browser?
Kind regards
Sharp. |

Hi Sharp,
Thank you for your reply. Yes I tried that ... still will not let me login from Chrome on desktop.
I then tried from my Samsung Android A50 mobile phone ... which uses mobile Chrome browser ... will not let me log in from there either.
It says "invalid username or password" but my username and password are both correct and working fine from Firefox. I also tried changing password, still will not work from Chrome desktop or Chrome on mobile.
Best regards,
Rob |
