I have been trying to find a tutorial online for creating and arranging a full drum track with all the breaks and fills and different parts for a song. I cannot find anything other than for Pro Logic, Garage Band and things like that.
Is there someone on here that would work with me to learn how to do this. I would like to find some complete examples and to learn exactly how to put drum tracks together to use in a song. I know you can create a part and assign it to a key and then just record the track hitting each key for each part. I think you can create the the part or parts using the arpeggiator. There is RPPR too or that might be what's used to put a part on a key. I guess you could just play each part of the drum kit all the way through the whole song and then go back and do the next drum kit part and so on and so forth but that would be kind of tedious and inefficient.
I want to know the best way and how to avoid problems. It seems that you can end up with unbalanced volumes between the different parts of the kit. Or your timing can be a little off but I think there are ways to correct this.
Does anyone know of any tutorials anywhere that would be helpful and show me everything step by step or close to it? Or better yet is there anyone out there that would be willing to give me some full examples and discuss how to do this?
Periodically I have tried to get this information and I have asked similar questions before but I never got a comprehensive answer.
Please let me know if you can help.
Thanks!
