Hi there

I copy MIDI files into USB and then, they are not recognized by the Korg PA3X

Or ir reads folders like: .feventsd and .Spotlight V-100. When I open the latter it has some strange files, journals.assitet import...

I formated the USB on the Mac - it can't be read by the Korg.
I formated the USB pn the Korg, still no result

This is my first post. I recently bought Korg PA3X and it seems like an excellent keyboard ( compared to my previous Casio)

Any assistance would be appreciated

Mayo

Many before you have been confused by the difference between Load, Copy and Play.
You dont "Load" midi files you either Play them direct from their location in a USB Flash Drive or from the Pa3x internal HD.
In fact if you have the Load tab in operation the midis wont be visible.

To play them direct from the flash drive in Song Play Mode, just touch the song name on your screen and navigate (drill down) to the song (you will need to change the drive from HD to USB on the bottom left first).

While in Media mode you can change to the Copy tab. Now your midis will be visible and you can copy them from your USB to HD if you wish. I suggest you create a new folder on your HD (use the topright dropdown menu) and call it say myMIDIS before copying across.

Finally, while its possible to play your midis as described above the best way (once they are on your HD) is to create Songbook entries so that your STS's and key changes etc are set up when you select the midi from the Songbook.
