Hello Everyone,

I can't remember how to use the songs from Garage Band when I play on my Triton Extreme.

Garage Band correctly receives data from the Triton Extreme's USB.
The Mac has its SPDIF out connected to the Triton Extreme SPDIF in.

However I can't mean how to configure the Triton Extreme to output the audio received on its SPDIF in when I play.

Any help ?

Thanks !
Bernard

Several things need to be in place for S/P DIF input to work.

The S/P DIF source i.e. Garageband/Mac needs to be set to 48kHz sample rate.

The System Clock needs to be set to S/P DIF in Global edit mode, P0, System Pref tab.

The remaining configuration differs, depending on whether Sampling mode is in use or Program / Combi / Sequencer / Song Play / Media modes.

For the latter group of modes, go to Global edit page P0, Input/Sampling tab and set the Input to S/P DIF. The effects routings can also be set here.

When I try to set the output to 48 khz on my iMac mid 2011, it returns back to 41 khz since I start Garageband. I tried with 16 bits to 32 bits.

The Triton tells me: "s/p dif clock error" when I set the system clock to S/P DIF. Surely because the Mac is not well configured.

After some googling, it seems that Garageband 10 can only work on 44.1 khz and my logic licence is 8 years old, not sure it still works...

If you have another advice to help further that's cool, otherwise thank you.

There is always the analogue signal option. Provided the levels are set correctly, the results should be good.
