First off, teenage engineer OP1’s device had an update in 2019 and that was created in 2011 so other companies have done it. Second, Korg added the red and blue ones in 2016 and still has them on their website. Lastly, I understand Korg not wanting to updating features like the shortcut part, but the bug problems should be fixed if they’re a company that wants to keep having continuing customers. |

Apples and Oranges. Korg is not a niche scandinavian 2.0 company.
Since the software took over in electronic music gear, I don't recall any of the three big japanese synths makers updating their products more than 2 or 3 years after it's been released.
Heck, 25 years ago, there were no update at all (unless - if you were lucky - you'd have to go to a service center to have a few IC swapped).
Happy wishful thinking anyway.

It's been fixed to Korg's best ability given the platform limitation. If they could have done better, they would have.
Remember it was much worse when the unit was released. There are still some embarassing video on youtube from back then. _________________ My electribe2 lousy patterns and stuff | KORG gear: NTS-1, nanoKEY2, electribe2/2S, WS/SR, WS/EX (on storage) |
