I am a long time PAX owner! Currently have a PA4x 61. Recently purchased a PA4X 76 from a dealer here in Long Island NY. Intermittently the USB thumb drive becomes "unrecognized' along with the internal hard drive???
When I shut off the KB and turn on again it is OK?? Then after playing awhile the same thing happens again?
It's going back to Korg USA in Melville to be checked out. Just curious if anyone on this forum has experienced a similar problem. _________________ PA3x |

It has not happened to my 76.
Is it a faulty USB stick?

When you say "unrecognised" is it just missing in the drop-down list of devices or does it actually produce an error on the screen?
As this is a new keyboard and happening to your USB AND HDD, I would recommend a service engineer to check it out under warranty ASAP.
Let us know how you go

HI I have no trouble on my Pa76 but on my Pa1000 with the front USB
I had a fault when playing direct from a stick of the stick losing contact.
It was moving about in the port when playing, the keyboard was returned
under warranty to Korg who couldn't find a problem.I can ! with the front
USB so I now use the rear port for direct.
I have tested all the Sticks I have (of all makes) and each reacted to
the fault when playing. Obviously a wiring fault or the USB port was
a bad one.
regards
