Apologies, I wasn't able to find subforums relating to my specific instruments.

I'm having trouble assigning my two MIDI controllers (Korg nanoPAD2 and Korg PA588) to two different tracks in Logic. I've referred to logicprohelp.com/instruments-tracks-midi-channels/ but still can't get this working.
I am aware part of my issue may require advice on Logic rather than KORG's, however I am confident I have everything set correctly in Logic.

In Logic, I've tried creating two different software instrument tracks and setting them to MIDI Channels 1 and 2. I've also enabled Auto demix by channel if multitrack recording in project settings.

In KORG KONTROL Editor, I've set the Global MIDI Channel to Channel 2, and saved. I'm not sure if, after saving, my new changes are recognised in Logic or if I have to import new settings? I'm more confident that I've set up the nanoPAD2 correctly, however it still registers in Logic whether I have Channel 1 or Channel 2 assigned.

On the PA588 I've tried setting Ch1 as Upper and Ch2 as Off, but similarly it registers on a track assigned to Channel 2.

Thanks for any help that can be offered!
