Hello,

The Behringer Deepmind 12 provides 10 FX algorythms. It's very convenient in the sound design process.
My goal is to re-create these algorythms in the Kronos. There is no predefined fx algorythm in the Kronos, so we must make them step by step.
The DM12 algorythm are made with 4 FX only. So it wouldn't be so hard to do ! In fact it's not so easy !
Using the Combi mode and playing the same sound on several tracks, it's possible to do this with algorythm M1 to M8 but I didn't find a way for the last two ones, which are the most interesting because of feedback.

So my question is : did you try to create a feddback loop in the Kronos FX routing ?

Thanks

The fact is that there is something that lacks really concerning the Kronos effects module. Never mind if others disagree Very Happy
For exemple : You cannot make Fx number 7 back to Fx number 4 and so on.
Always down and out !!!!

There is perhaps a way I didn't try yet. As it is possible to select the Bus for each IFX, we can select individual outputs (1 to 4).

Then plug output 1 to Audio input1, outpu 2 into audio input 2.

Then, in Audio Inputs, we can select the IFX we want for each Input (1 and 2).
So theorically, we can send the IFX4 output back to IFX1 input, for example by using external audio input.

It has to be tested.

EDIT : it works !!

You can feedback, via FX Bus 1 and 2. If you run a guitar through IFX 7 Pitch Shifter, you can output through FX Bus 1.

On IFX 4, I put a Compressor. Inside that effect, I assign FX Bus 1 to ENV and check the SIDECHAIN box. Chain IFX 4 to IFX 5. Select a Long Delay.

Adjust FX WET/DRY to almost dry.

Now chain IFX 5 to IFX 7. You have a feedback loop. If your WET/DRY levels are even slightly high, the effects will turn your output off, so be careful.

Thanks Mike.
When you mention "you can output through FX Bus 1", are you speaking of "CTRL Bus 1" ?
