Does the Krome EX do seamless sound transitions?

No, although a workaround might be to place several different Programs into a Combi, and use the Combi volume faders, or use key zoning to allocate different timbres to different parts of the keyboard. The Kronos is SST (smooth sound transition) capable, and the Wavestate will also do SST, to an extent, though voice-stealing normally silences notes from a previous Performance (patch) in the wavestate.
