I've searched all the manuals I can find and I'm stumped by the following:
Please can anyone tell me what sysex I enter to change banks on the Triton VST? I can manage Yamaha and Roland but this has me beaten.
Here's the sysex to turn on XG in a Yamaha system:
43 10 4C 00 00 7E 00 F7
So what do I send to change banks in a Triton please?
Many thanks |

Hello, and welcome to the Korg forum. If your question is not answered here, try posting it under the Triton section. You might find help there. _________________ Kronos2-61..(2) Triton Classic, Nord Stage 2, Previously owned lots of other gear dating back to the 70’s. |

If all you are trying to do is change to a program in another bank, you use the Bank Select CCs prior to sending the Program Change.
For example, with a Bank Map setting of "Korg" in the global settings, to select a program in Bank Int A:
CC#00 000, CC#32 000, Program XXX
Bank Int C:
CC#00 000, CC#32 002, Program XXX
Bank EXB A:
CC#00 000, CC#32 008, Program XXX
See, for example, the Triton Studio Parameter Guide Page 137 for the complete list. _________________ Stephen Kay - KARMA Developer • Karma-Lab - karma-lab.com

Many thanks. I've coped with that. Now I'm trying to assign the control knobs. The expression CC11 works the wrong way round. Higher numbers turn the sound off when with other MIDI devices they turn the sound up. Have I missed a command somewhere? |
