Do you mean the preset projects or the samples? I managed to clear all my patterns but I recall trying to clear all the samples and I couldn't. I even have that file on my device still. _________________ Wavestate soon, Electribe 2 Sample, Minilogue XD, Blofeld, Behr Model D, Neutron, Novation Circuit, Zoom R8, Push 2 and a boat load of Arturia plugins

All I can think is you have the 'old' allsample file there or one with the same name(?)
How the ES2 works is it looks for an allsample file in the Sample folder when it boots up.
If it finds one - especially that name - it flashes it.
If it cant find one it will automatically flash the default samples that must be stored on the machine internally.
What I do is make a new fold inside that Sample folder (using pc) and call it BLANK and dump that blank allsample file in it. I keep the top level of 'Sample' folder devoid of other allsamples.
When I boot up the machne - it cant find an allsample file at the top levbel so it flashes the default samples.
I do an 'Import Samples' function and go looking for my blank folder and import that.
All the defaults are then gone.
If I dont do an export allsample (which stores the exported allsample in that top level of the Sample folder) then I have to do another import sample to find the allsample I do want.
I think I have about 45 folders inside that Sample folder - each with its own allsample file.
Other folks rename their allsample files and keep them all stored in the top level of that folder and they seem happy enough
Just different ways how to roll - but it does work |
