Have you tried going the the native Kronos programs? There might be some things there that comes close and you could tweak as necessary. This was the 80s, so things could be replicated fairly easily with the technology in the Kronos. You'll probably need to deal with a click track. This was the era of MIDI, so everybody was sequencing. Your drummer will need to sync to the BPM to be able to pull this off. Looking at a video of a 1990 concert looks like Banks has a Synclavier, an EMU Emulator II, an ARP Quadra, etc. Looks like some of what might be considered synth parts are done by Daryl Stuermer on guitar.
