Hi,
I’m using my Roland Integra module with my Pa3x and while it’s easy to select external sounds in play mode, I can not find the way to do this in style record mode. Does anyone know is there a way to do this within the pa3x rather than exporting style to midi, edit in cubase and reimport back to Korg?
Thanks.

The same way you would set the track mode to internal/external or both for the performances works for style tracks as well

I meant in Style Record Mode

Also, why are all track controls set to “both” by default? Is there a way to globally set them all to internal?? I find it silly that way, as soon as the external device is hooked up, it plays all channels that are transmitting midi

I’m using pa3x to controll external sound module and want to drive certain style tracks from it but not on all styles. The way pa3x is setup by default is all track controlls are set to “both” (int and ext) which, in order for me to do what I intended to, requires each track of every style to be manually set to “internal” which would take forever... That is why I asked for global option which doesn’t exist.
The other question is about selecting external MSB LSB banks while i style record mode, while editing style inside pa3x, and that doesn’t seem to be possible either. Only solution is to export style to midi, edit in DAW and re-import bact to pa3x. Still takes forever.

The global solution is to follow what i wrote before and have 2 midi settings so that you can enable or disable midi whenever you want. Switching 100 styles to internal should take a little over an hour so not that bad. After switching the track mode to external (in style record using the directions i gave) you can add the MSB LSB by simply clicking on the sound and using the onscreen keypad.

Can you make a video of how you connect this? I allways wanted to do this.
