Bought this synth was told it had bad voice on 6th chip. Prior owner not sure if this is vcf/vca or vco. Said he check in diagnostic mode and it is #6. Can anyone please direct me to what chip I need to replace? Is it the NJM2069? |

The NJM2069 is the VCF / VCA component in this part of the synth so, if the previous owner's investigations suggested this was the problem, replacing it may well cure the issue. However, be aware that there are other components in the signal paths for each voice, and it is possible the fault may lie elsewhere, so further investigation may need to be done. Good luck.

The only floppy I have is no longer loading. I drew a wave today harmonic mode and it played with no drop out of the 6th note. Then 20 minutes after being on the 8th note played started playing way louder then the others. Filtercwas wide open. Once it started doing this it did it every time. Very Strange ! Go from losing 6 th note to having a blaring loud 8th. |
