I've got a Kronos2 73 and am considering buying an original 61 for playing out that's still at 2.1.1.

Can anyone tell me if upgrading the OS to the current 3.x.x if it adds the additional colors in the setlist?

Thanks!

Thank you... but I want to make sure I asked right, I looked all over for a picture of one of original blacksided Kronos with a multi-colored setlist and couldn't find one.

You're saying any of the very first Kronos can have a multi colored setlist like the Kronos2's with the 3.1.1 upgrade, right?

THANKS.

All Kronos', starting from serial number 00001 to the one on the store shelf, can benefit from the same firmware upgrade file. If you perform the upgrade, your Kronos will be just as modern as a new one.

It didn't work for someone I'm communicating with selling a blacksided, original Kronos 61. He upgraded it from 2.1.1 to 3.1.1. and there is still no multi colored setlist list like the Kronos2's.

His message:
Kronos is all up to date now with 3.1.1
Nice changes in there but no color setlist. Sorry bout that.
But it’s got the latest system now. Thanks for telling me about it. I have
not looked in a while. Cool to have it in there : )

Could he be missing something else to do? Does anyone have a picture of blacksided with a multi-colored setlist? I still don't believe it!

Funciona perfectamente... Lo que sucede es que tiene q editar cada banco dede tu SetList y ponerle tu el color a cada sonido... En la opción "edit" tengo un 2011 actualizado a 3.1.2

Provided the "Legacy Slot Style" option in the Setlist screen top right drop down menu is unticked, the set list slot colours can be changed without any problems on the Kronos X, and original Kronos, running OS v3.1.3, and that has been the case ever since set list colours became an option (OS V3.0.2 onwards).

Thanks all. I'm also wondering if no 'new setlist colors' showed up after his upgrade to 3.1.1 because he didn't have any assigned to any different color yet.

Forgot to think about that.

Thanks all again for the contributions, this is good news.

You have the choice of the original Orange/Grey or Using Colours from the drop down menu.

Link is not in English but you will get the idea.

yes, it sounds like the person selling that Kronos upgraded it's OS but since no colors were assigned to any setlist slots, they all still remained gray.
