Hello,
Sorry because it's a quite generic question. But I would like to use an affordable and quite compact machine that could act as drum/groove machine and possibly sequencer for the prologue.
What do you advise please ?
Regards

Hello,
Is there any more affordable option than an optatrak ?
I have no experience at all in sequencers.
Do step sequencers require playing notes in fixed time intervals and for a whole song ?
I am looking for a device that records the midi notes and replay them, for a whole song, and for the moment nothing more, so as to superimpose the stamps.
Although a drum machine, possibly.
I plan to get a Kronos in a near future. But for now...
Thank you.

I recommend Arturia Keystep $119 or Beatstep pro $249. Easy, affordable well built. You'll notice most people who review synths use them and theres a reason why =) There great!
